Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the heart of it: we packed serious heat into a small package. It runs on 400V, so we can deliver high power in a short envelope. That means it ramps up fast and responds fast, hitting the exact PVB film drying temps you need the moment you need them. The length is intentional. It gives you enough coverage for the film edge, but stays tight enough to keep your conveyor geometry clean and simple.
Material & Design
Inside, you’ll find a shortwave infrared halogen element in a quartz envelope. The filament hits temperature almost instantly, so you get heat on demand—no waiting around for a giant oven to settle. The tube is coated to focus the heat where you want it and cut down on stray radiation that could warp nearby parts. Installation is straightforward, too. The R7s connector makes it a drop-in swap on many standard fixtures, and the Sk15 termination gives you a solid, tool-friendly hookup that can handle the vibration of a running line.
Application & Benefits
On a screen printing glass line, PVB film cutting and drying has to be repeatable, every single time. This unit puts the heat right where you need it, drying the film edge without scorching the glass surface. Because the layout is integrated and customized, it cuts wasted space. You can trim your machine footprint by up to 40% compared to bulky convection ovens or full-length sections. One thing to keep in mind: that high heat density means you’ll need proper cooling and shielding. It’s worth it, but you do need to make sure the surrounding electronics stay in their safe zone.
