If you’ve ever worked with curved train windows, you know the struggle. You need the heat to be exactly right—enough to pull out those internal stresses, but not so much that you shock the glass or warp it. It’s a delicate balance. We handle this in two ways: we can sell you the individual replacement lamps, or we can give you the whole package with our curved infrared heating modules.
Why we moved to modules
Let’s be honest. Wiring up dozens of individual lamps on a shop floor is a nightmare. You’re fighting with alignment, wrestling with wiring looms, and praying that one loose connector doesn’t kill your whole day. So, we decided to take that headache away from you and move it to our factory. Instead of a box of parts, we send you a turnkey module. It’s a pre-calibrated array of lamps already fixed into a curved chassis that matches your glass radius. You just drop it in. No assembly, no guessing.
The technical side of things
We use short-wave infrared because it actually gets deep into the glass. We use high-wattage quartz lamps to get the temperature up fast, which is great for your timeline. **But here is the catch:**that much heat density means you have to be smart about your cooling. If your air-cooling manifolds aren’t up to the task, the frame gets too hot and your lamps will burn out way too soon. We also baked the power circuitry and cabling right into the module. This saves you from doing the math on wire gauges or worrying about voltage drops across a 3-meter span. We’ve already done the boring stuff for you.
Saving time and sanity
The real win here is the labor. Think about it: instead of mounting twenty different lamps and wiring each one by hand, you just bolt in the module and plug in the main power feed. It’s faster.
