Getting the Heat Exactly Where It Needs to Be

Now, there is a trade-off. When you cram more custom lamps into a small space, you’re pumping in a lot more wattage per square inch. Before you go all-in, double-check your power supply to make sure it can handle the load. You’ll also want to make sure your ventilation can keep up with the extra ambient heat. And a word of caution: if the lamps are too close, you might end up scorching the surface. You’ll need to tweak your PID controllers to handle that extra intensity.
